N2  - El objeto del estudio fue analizar el discurso en estudiantes de prácticas de Trabajo Social de la Corporación Universitaria del Caribe CECAR, frente a los contextos sociales y la formación académica. Para esto, la metodología utilizada se enmarcó en el paradigma interpretativo con un enfoque cualitativo. Asimismo, el tipo de investigación es descriptiva con diseño fenomenológico. La muestra del estudio estuvo conformada por 4 estudiantes de octavo, 4 de noveno y 4 estudiantes de décimo semestre en prácticas profesionales. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la entrevista a profundidad y grupos focales, mediante el análisis del discurso, logrando conocer por parte de los estudiantes lo que piensan con respecto al tema, además, la entrevista a profundidad permite la inclusión de preguntas adicionales para precisar de una mejor manera lo conceptos y de esta manera, obtener mayor información por parte de los participantes. Para el análisis de datos, se codificó y categorizó la información obtenida, por medio del criterio deductivo-inductivo, con el apoyo de análisis de datos donde se abordaron los diferentes contextos sociales por parte de los estudiantes de práctica profesional de CECAR. Con respecto a los resultados obtenidos se resalta la participación de uno de los estudiantes de Trabajo Social perteneciente al grupo focal de noveno semestre, en donde refiere que ³la formación académica y lo demandado por el contexto si se logra articular, sin embargo, en ocasiones cuando se enfrentan a la realidad social fuera del aula de clases, se encuentran con QXeYaV SURbOePiWLcaV dLfeUeQWeV a OaV eVWXdLadaV deQWUR de OaV aXOaV´. Además, como parte de los resultados se obtuvo que los estudiantes consideran que se debe reforzar Individuo y Familia, Grupo y Comunidad, entre otras asignaturas. Dado que son propias de la disciplina que se ponen en práctica en el lugar donde estas se llevan a cabo. Por lo cual, han tenido algunas dificultades en cuanto a la intervención a nuevas problemáticas sociales. Se concluye con la necesidad de crear un plan de fortalecimiento para los estudiantes en concepciones generales básicas (contexto social y el énfasis de Trabajo Social); The objective of the study was to analyze the discourse of social work internship students of the Corporación Universitaria del Caribe CECAR, in relation to social contexts and academic training. For this, the methodology used was framed in the interpretative paradigm with a qualitative approach. Likewise, the type of research is descriptive with a phenomenological design. The study sample was made up of 4 eighth graders, 4 ninth graders and 4 tenth graders on professional practices. The techniques used were the in-depth interview and focus groups, by means of the analysis of the speech, achieving to know on the part of the students what they think with regard to the topic, in addition, the in-depth interview allows the inclusion of additional questions to specify of a better way the concepts and this way, to obtain more information on the part of the participants. For the data analysis, the information obtained was codified and categorized, through the deductive-inductive criterion, with the support of data analysis where the different social contexts were addressed by CECAR students of professional practice. With respect to the results obtained, the participation of one of the Social Work students from the ninth semester's focus group is highlighted, where he refers that "academic training and what is demanded by the context can be articulated, however, sometimes when they face social reality outside the classroom, they encounter new problems that are different from those studied in the classroom". In addition, as part of the results, students consider that Individual and Family, Group and Community should be strengthened, among other subjects. Given that they are typical of the discipline that is put into practice in the place where they are carried out. Therefore, they have had some difficulties in terms of intervening in new social problems. It concludes with the need to create a plan to strengthen students in basic general concepts (social context and the emphasis of Social Work)
