El Trastorno de Estrés Postraumático (TEPT) es una afectación psicopatológica que puede generar
un amplio espectro de dificultades en diferentes ámbitos de la vida cotidiana de las personas
quienes lo padecen, del mismo modo puede influir en la aparición de comorbilidades. El objetivo
de la presente investigación es analizar el estado de la producción científica aportado por los
estudios acerca de las secuelas del estrés postraumático y el abuso/agresión en población de
adolescentes y adultos jóvenes entre 2014-2024. La metodología se sustenta desde el paradigma
interpretativo, con diseño cualitativo y tipo revisión de literatura desde la implementación del
modelo PRISMA. A partir del análisis realizado se encontró que las sintomatologías del TEPT
pueden extenderse y afectar áreas como el sueño, relación social, comportamiento, cognición y el
estado emocional. Además, la persistencia del TEPT puede dar lugar a otros trastornos: en un 50%
de los pacientes pueden desarrollar Trastorno de Ansiedad, el 30% pueden presentar un Trastorno
de Estrés Postraumático Específico (TEPT-C) y el 9% pueden desarrollar un Trastorno Disociativo
de la Identidad (TID). En este sentido la presencia de trastornos adicionales puede dificultar tanto
el diagnóstico como el tratamiento del TEPT, dado que pueden enmascarar o exacerbar sus
síntomas, generando mayores desafíos clínicos en su abordaje, del mismo modo los eventos
traumáticos en la infancia pueden permanecer presentes y manifestarse como TEPT en la
adolescencia o adultez, a menudo oculto por trastornos como los mencionados. Desde ese punto
de vista, se hace necesario seguir ampliando los análisis a través de investigaciones empíricas y de
revisión de la literatura que permitan seguir estudiante esta problemática con el fin de tener datos
más recientes y mejor documentados sobre el impacto real generado en el desarrollo biopsicosocial
de las personas que sufren esta afectación y proponer estrategias de intervención temprana y
adecuada sobre el manejo del TEPT. El trabajo.

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a psychopathological condition that can generate a wide
spectrum of difficulties in different areas of daily life of people who suffer it and can also influence
the development of comorbidities. The aim of the present research is to analyze the state of
scientific production contributed by studies about the sequelae of post-traumatic stress and
abuse/aggression in population of adolescents and young adults between 2014-2024. The
methodology is supported from the interpretive paradigm, with qualitative design and literature
review type from the implementation of the PRISMA model. From the analysis it was found that
PTSD symptomatologies can spread and affect areas such as sleep, social relationships, behavior,
cognition and emotional state. In addition, the persistence of PTSD may lead to other disorders:
50% of patients may develop Anxiety Disorder, 30% may present Specific Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder (PTSD-C) and 9% may develop Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). In this sense, the
presence of additional disorders can hinder both the diagnosis and treatment of PTSD, since they
can mask or exacerbate its symptoms, generating greater clinical challenges in its approach, in the
same way traumatic events in childhood can remain latent and manifest as PTSD in adolescence
or adulthood, often hidden by disorders such as those mentioned above. From this point of view,
it is necessary to continue expanding the analysis through empirical research and literature review
that will allow us to continue studying this problem in order to have more recent and better
documented data on the real impact generated in the biopsychosocial development of people who
suffer this condition and to propose early and appropriate intervention strategies on the
